The complex nature of the core unit changed my understanding of literature given the introduction of arithmetic in an art course. Personal questions arose on the relation between calculus and literature course. The nature of the unit was such that majority of students carried out intensive resea rch in order to tackle the unit. The course creates a sense of unity given the number of study groups created to ensure a clear understanding of the unit. My doubts were on the entire curriculum given the introduction of a social science to an art course. As time progressed, I came to understand the basis of the unit.
